  • The role of Youth Counsellor plays a part in our mission to support young people in Norfolk by providing 1:1 counselling sessions for young people. You will carry out assessments of young people's mental health using appropriate tools and refer or signpost young people to alternative support where necessary.

    Applicants must have a recognised qualification in counselling, and be accredited, or eligible for accreditation, by the BACP, UKCP, or an equivalent body. Some experience of working with young people is essential.

    At MAP, we are advisers, counsellors, youth workers and other professionals working together to provide the best support we can to young people aged 11-25, in a way that works for them.
