Full Job Description

The Youth Service is undergoing an exciting time of development and has a number of opportunities to be part of the team as a Youth Inclusion Worker, engaging and supporting young people 11 to 19 years, up to 25 with SEND and/or Care Leaver. Youth Inclusion Workers will ensure ALL young people are welcome and included via offering an enhanced range of services and projects that include Personal Care.
Our goal is to support ALL young people to realise their potential and encourage them to look to a brighter future. We believe that young people need positive opportunities and experiences to help shape them for the future.

We deliver a range of different groups across the inclusion agenda that young people attend including

SEND Youth Groups
LGBTQ+
Youth Voice
The sessions run in the evening between 6-9pm and can be delivered across the full week, this can include Friday night delivery.

We are not looking for experience but the right candidate will have a passion for supporting young people who are potentially struggling to build a strong future and have the ability to form meaningful professional relationships to inform and educate about making positive changes.

We are looking for candidates who will:

Work with a diverse group of young people.

Understand the needs of young people with Protected Characteristics

Plan activities for and with young people based on their needs and interests.

Deliver the activities in a fun and engaging way.

Lead sessions in arts, cooking, music and crafts.

Be aware of the diverse needs of young people who you are supporting.
