Full Job Description

The Youth Voice Coordinator plays a key role in implementing CYN's participation strategy and youth participation groups. They coordinate core youth participation groups but also ensure colleagues across all levels of the organisation, from delivery staff to the board, have the tools to effectively embed youth participation. The successful candidate will be expected to work some evenings to engage young people in our Open Access sessions, and build core participation groups in Bristol and South Gloucester. The role is integral to collaboration of existing participation groups both internally at CYN, and externally in the local area. The Youth Voice Coordinator will be responsible for the success of We The 33% events, and ensuring the agenda and planning is youth led, with a measurable influence on decision making in the region.
