Full Job Description

  • Align activities with the Account Manager's account plans, relevant marketing programmes, and management direction.
  • Plan and implement Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) management activities.
  • Manage time effectively to support both the Business Unit and customers.
  • Relationships
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to deliver tailored customer solutions, utilising all available resources, including value-added services and Product Managers.
  • Develop mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with our customers, founded on veterinary expertise, respect, and reputation.
  • Provide support, training, and coaching to Account Managers and colleagues, sharing your expertise to add value for our customers.
  • Customer Activities
  • Enhance product usage among customers using your technical and business knowledge, delivering programmes that improve animal health and productivity.
  • Use practice data to identify opportunities and tailor our programmes to meet customer needs.
  • Provide the agreed standard of technical support, responding promptly and effectively to customer queries and complaints.
  • Undertake diagnostic support as required.
  • Collaborate with specific customers alongside Account Managers to ensure a continuous flow of information.
  • Support the National Veterinary Managers when needed.
  • Assist the European cluster when required.
  • Veterinary Knowledge and Expertise
  • Leverage your veterinary expertise to inform customers about a product's technical workings, diagnostic applications, uses, and effects.
  • Share knowledge with Account Managers and throughout the wider business.
  • Identify opportunities to utilise your expertise for commercial gain.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise regarding the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, and competition.
  • Compliance
  • Uphold high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global Vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel and expenses policy, and local codes of practice.
  • Deliver technical training and coaching to Account Managers that align with Zoetis practices, ensuring a thorough understanding and knowledge transfer on products and diseases.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to maintain accurate records of customer activity.

    Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to retain, recall, and apply detailed technical information on products and diseases.
  • Information Translation: Skill in translating technical details into clear, understandable concepts for customers.
  • Customer Focus: A strong service orientation, ensuring that customer needs are met with high-quality support.
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain effective, long-lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Commercial Mindset: A focus on identifying business opportunities and driving commercial success.
