Full Job Description

  • To assist with bids for building surveying multi-market mandates, across the UK and EMEA. This will include collating fees from our in-country teams, and assessing in country capabilities
  • To undertake building surveying instructions for a wide range of UK corporate clients including Santander, Bupa along with other smaller clients with ad-hoc instructions.
  • Ensure that Building Surveying instructions are undertaken in a consistent manner and in line with our service agreements.
  • To act as a best practice lead for Occupier Services across EMEA for Building Surveying services.
  • The role is in our Enterprise Project management team
  • We regularly interact with 800 Project managers, Building Surveyors and Cost Managers across EMEA and our OS EMEA team (c. 150)
  • Main Responsibilities
  • To ensure that work is conducted in line Colliers Best Practice standards.
  • To support account managers with building surveying instructions and ensure such activities and deliverables are consistent and in line with contract service levels.
  • Produce high quality written reports for clients including dilapidations, schedules of condition, contract administration.
  • To develop client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • To provide intel for our clients and help keep them up to date with industry best practice.
  • To self-generate fee income (target to be agreed) and to work diligently to meet team and Business target.
  • To seek opportunities to develop new business including cross-selling and identification of new business.
  • To promote cross team collaboration to ensure client's success; this could be suggesting continuous improvement actions based upon project outcomes.
  • Undertake building surveys and provide clients with expert advise on building maintenance, repair and refurbishments.
