Ashfield District Council have a great opportunity for two Housing Officers to join us in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. You will join us on either a full time, permanent basis or 12 month fixed term contract, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £31,067 - £33,366 per annum.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with tenancy and estate management experience to join our award winning, upper quartile performing, Housing Team.
Experience of working in social housing and with tenants is essential.
As a Housing Officer, you will manage a patch of properties within the Ashfield area, dealing with all aspects of tenancy and estate management including enforcement of tenancy conditions.
This role involves visiting customers in their own home, establishing good relationships, as well as the preparation of legal documentation and attendance at Court.
You must be organised and able to manage and prioritise a diverse workload with competing demands. You must be flexible to respond to unplanned situations and possess the problem-solving skills needed to deal with issues at pace and with accuracy.
