Computer Science is a key component of our curriculum and benefits from generously dedicated curriculum time in all year groups. As Head of Computer Science, you will lead a small team of specialist teachers, fostering a collaborative and innovative approach to teaching and learning, ensuring an engaging curriculum across the key stages. Computer Science is popular at GCSE and A level, with ever-increasing student numbers. Students are encouraged to develop a deep understanding of computational thinking, programming and digital technologies, preparing them for future success in a rapidly evolving digital world. Many of our students go on to specialise in the subject at university or via the apprenticeship route. Our students enthusiastically involve themselves in a wide range of subject-related enrichment and extracurricular opportunities (including our junior and senior programming clubs and Parmiter's Hackathon).
