The Role:We are seeking a skilled Technician with expertise in Construction and Electrical systems to provide efficient technical services, including preparing tools and materials for practical classes and maintaining equipment.Who you are:You are a detail-oriented professional passionate about construction and electrical work, committed to high-quality results, and supportive of the College's mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and shaping the future of young professionals, we would love to hear from you!Key Skills and Experience:Level 3 qualification in a relevant tradeTechnical skills in Plumbing, Electrical, Brickwork, and Wood TradesOrganisational skills and ability to adapt to changes in course contentKnowledge of health and safety requirementsKey Responsibilities:Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for practical classes, assessments, and examsEnsure safety and accessibility of machines and tools for
studentsOrder and monitor tools and materials, maintain and repair equipmentAssist teaching staff and monitor students for safe working practicesOrganise and store equipment according to College policy, dispose of waste materials safely What We Offer:Pension: New City College provides a career average pension scheme for all staff.
