Full Job Description
Course Assistant (3 posts)
University of Huddersfield
Huddersfield, Yorkshire
£26,000
Contract
Registry
£24,242 - £26,287 per annum
Fixed term for 12 months
37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join the Registry and Academic Development Team, to work as part of the Course Administration Team, providing a comprehensive and responsive administrative and reception service in support of the student lifecycle and enhancement activities.
This is a busy and varied role requiring meticulous attention to detail and an ability to multi-task to ensure that all duties are completed effectively and to the highest of standards. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and take pride in providing a high-quality service to all customers. You will enjoy working across a wide range of activities, for example, handling student enquiries and supporting student focused events such as graduation ceremonies and examinations.
With a minimum standard of education demonstrated by GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, you will have experience of administrative work in a busy office environment, including maintaining accurate records and servicing meetings, and will be able to satisfy all criteria detailed in the person specification. It is also important that you understand and have empathy with the experiences of students in higher education.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Employer, Stonewall Gold Award holder and Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.
Informal enquiries can be made by contacting Anna Howley.
