Full Job Description
Caerphilly Homes are looking to recruit an Assistant Foreman to assist the Foreman in the supervision of a team of multi skilled In-house trade staff and sub contractors, to deliver the Planned Asset Maintenance program to the standards set out in WHQS 2023. The postholder will assist and support in all daily operational activities in order to deliver the service effectively and efficiently and ensure labour and quality of work is delivered at all times. You will monitor key performance information in line with targets and take any necessary corrective action. For the role, we ask that you have:
- A recognised trade qualification such as an NVQ level 2 or equivalent Level 2 qualification in a relevant building related subject. or Basic City and Guilds or equivalent.
- The potential to lead and direct a multi-disciplined team in achieving goals and targets to realise the Council's objectives.
- Experience in a supervisory or management position in a relevant discipline working within a Local Authority or similar environment.
- Punctual, reliable and ability to meet prioritised work
