Full Job Description
This role specifically will be working on a UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) project called Tees Valley Move Forward; an employability project focused on supporting those who have been out of work due to health conditions. You will be working with a large delivery team of more than 25 so you will be well supported; and the project has been going for more than 18 months. You will be expected to work 1 day per week at an Employment Hub in Tees Valley. About you You will be able to quickly check that benefit income is maximised and give accurate and timely advice, information and support relating to benefit entitlement. You'll also be able to provide money guidance, helping people to budget to make savings, and recognise where referrals to specialist advisors or other services would be beneficial. You will be happy to travel for your role, and co-locate in employment and customer hubs - taking your support direct to our communities.
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Financial Wellbeing Advisor in the Money Matters Team. The Money Matters team works with our customers to maximise income and reduce expenditure through expert benefits and money advice.

- Salary is £27,162 per annum
- Location: Tees Valley, formal head office base will be Greengates, County Durham
- Regular travel will be required
