Trainee Ecologist (Two Positions Available)

We are seeking two Trainee Ecologists to join our cause.
The successful applicants will assist in the delivery of the ecological survey and monitoring of the Trust's Estate, support Trust staff in the delivery of externally funded survey and project work, and lead on the delivery of specific tasks. The post holders will be provided with in-house and external training, and gain a wealth of experience in survey work (including habitat survey, soil sampling, invertebrates including butterflies & bumblebees, Odonata, Orthoptera, earthworms and riverflies, bats, breeding birds, dormice, great crested newts, reptiles, water voles and white-clawed crayfish), data collection and collation, data analysis, reporting (both internally and for external clients), use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS), equipment maintenance (including implementing the Trust's biosecurity protocol) and team working.
