Coventry City Council is working hard to improve outcomes for children with disabilities across the city. We are now seeking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Operational Lead for Children with Disabilities. This is to cover the role for an initial period of 6 months. Operational Leads are responsible for managing the delivery of high quality, inclusive services for looked after children on a day-to-day basis, as well as planning and implementing a programme of improvement work to meet the demands of the three-year Ofsted inspection cycle This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
