That's why our apprenticeship programs are developed to provide people with the opportunity to learn everything they need to now to build a successful career in childcare to make a difference to future generations.
The main responsibilities of this job role will include:
Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
Being a team player.
Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
Taking part in First Aid training as required
Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
Working with teams across the nursery setting
Supporting children's learning and development.
Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
Supporting children's self-help needs.
Being creative and enthusiastic.
Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
Career Progression:
Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for :
Continuous development in current nursery setting..... Room Leader positions/ Possible management training
Springboard into primary education
Paediatric nursing
This is a 14 month Apprenticeship and you will be working for a minimum of 30 hours a week in one of our Nurseries.
