Full Job Description

To help me access the community and engage in social activities., This will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of six months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay. This post is subject to an enhanced police check (DBS) and training may be required if identified by the employer.

I am a very happy and always smiling 11 year old boy living in the Nantgarw area. I have a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD and I am non-verbal. My mood can change quickly and go from 0-100 if something upsets me., I have no awareness of danger when out and could run off so would need someone to hold my hand constantly and keep a very close eye on me to ensure my safety at all times. I do not like crowds of people either so will drag peoples hand to leave when I am uncomfortable. I also do not enjoy queues. I enjoy listening to people singing and playing instruments to me and like sensory inputs to help keep me calm., A driver with business class insurance.

3 hours per PA (1 shift) a week term time and 6 hours per PA (2 shifts) a week during the school holidays to be used flexibly.

RATES OF PAY

£13.20 per hour.

40p per mile.
