Salary: £31,729 to £43,736 (Pro-rota £25,383 to £34,988)
We are looking for a Teacher in Education.
As a teaching colleague you'll go into the Teacher Pensions scheme and enjoy some really great benefit's, i.e., Teacher's will have a generous leave of 45 days leave (pro-rata for P/T), plus bank holidays and any closedown periods at such as Christmas (pro-rata for P/T), Costa Coffee on site, Free on-site Gym at Beaufort Road, onsite bakery products at Tameside One, The Restaurant at Tameside One, to name but a few. Here's the standard bit: You'll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs, whilst assessing learners progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
What you'll need: - Enthusiasm, resilience and be highly motivated coupled with Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications to at least Level 2, you must have a Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).
Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education or required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development. Relevant assessment qualifications - IQA/A1/V1 are desirable.
