Full Job Description
- To work across KS1 and/or KS2 under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement learning activities with individuals/groups of children, in or out of the classroom.
- To support high quality teaching and learning through involvement in planning, preparation and assessment.
- To provide social and emotional support to individual/small groups of children - school will fund ELSA training for appointed members of staff delivering these sessions.
Have at least NVQ Level 3 in teaching assistance or equivalent. - Have good, personal literacy/numeracy skills (GCSE English and mathematics or equivalent). Ideally, you will:
- Have training in/experience of teaching Read, Write Inc (Phonics) to small groups of pupils.
