An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time teacher of Art and/or Photography to join our outstanding Art & DT department. The Art department is strong and well-led with both Art & Photography at KS3, 4 & 5. There is a well-developed curriculum and a strong focus on excellent teaching and learning, multiple opportunities for students to take part in extra-curricular activities and a range of trips. The successful applicant will:
- be an outstanding classroom teacher;
- have a proven and demonstrable track record of success at KS3, KS4 & 5;
- have a good understanding of the current educational developments, especially those relating to classroom-based practice;
- have the highest expectations of students;
- have the ability to lead whole school improvement;
- have an enthusiastic and positive approach within and beyond the classroom;
- have energy, stamina and a sense of humour. Continuing professional development for all staff is at the core of everything we do, and you would be joining an organisation which would offer numerous career developments to Senior Leadership and beyond.
