Full Job Description
First Response Service (FRS) is expanding to include Mental health Response Vehicles (MHRV) across the Trust footprint. The post provides an opportunity for motivated individuals to be involved in developing the FRS delivery model. The MHRV's attend specific mental health jobs where a double-crewed ambulance and transport to AED's may not be required as there is no physical injury. Patients will be transported to safe spaces across the Trust including crisis cafes, where the team will have access to First Responders. The post holder will be expected to work as part of the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service which includes Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services.

The successful applicant will be providing enhanced management and mental health assessment for individuals who contact 999 with mental health crisis via the Mental Health Response Vehicle (MHRV). MHRV will be based at Bebington and Northwich Ambulance stations.
