Full Job Description
The post is permanent, and the contract is for 35 hrs P/W. Discussions/applications regarding flexible working in relation to these hours are welcome.
The role involves managing a direct payment service and providing assurance to Senior Managers and Elected Members on the quality of provision and service delivery across Adult Social Care as directed by the Head of Business Development
The successful applicant will have a wide range of transferable skills and experience including a working knowledge of direct payments within an appropriate background. In addition we are looking for excellent ICT skills, good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a fast based multi-disciplinary area of work. Organisational, prioritization and negotiation skills will be required to balance a varied and wide-ranging workload with competing priorities.
The post will be of interest to applicants who are skilled and experienced in working within a Business Development role in the following areas:

Development and maintenance of excellent practice
Performance Management and Analysis
Development, implementation of associated policies and processes
Applicants should be educated to degree level or have equivalent and relevant experience.
