Full Job Description

Yodel are looking for a proactive Asset Protection Officer to join an existing team responsible for providing a safe, secure, and compliant experience for employees, contractors and visitors by ensuring site compliance with all safety and security regulations, monitoring inventory levels, and responding to safety and security incidents. Whilst also possessing the ability to collaborate with site management and local emergency services to investigate and resolve security issues, such as theft, fraud, and illegal activity.What you'll be doing In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our asset protection strategies and operational audit programs across multiple Yodel service centres. You will also monitor employees, contractors, visitors and associates to ensure compliance with site policies and procedures, while providing excellent service delivery utilising soft skills. In addition to this you will be responsible for the following:
- + Completing and submitting reports + Advise on the best strategies for protecting assets + Conducting audits and providing accurate data + Delivering asset protection plans and asset protection process + Stay up to date on asset protection guidance and regulation.
You will be a collaborative team member who can also take the initiative when working independently. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills whilst also upholding the financial interests of the organisation. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate the following skills: - Prioritising customer satisfaction and communicate positively
- Foster collaboration and honesty within teams
- Seek ways to improve services and share best practices
- Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel
- Proven experience in auditing or investigative roles
- Track record of successful asset protection and audit strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
