Full Job Description
+ Utilise your expertise in metrology and measurement principles to ensure the precision of internal and external purchased components, using advanced laboratory equipment.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of measurement methods and processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
+ Produce detailed measurement reports for components, ensuring clear communication of results and supporting data-driven decision-making.
+ Assist with quality investigations, providing expert measurement support to resolve issues and maintain the highest standards of quality.
+ Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers, technicians, and production personnel, working effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
Qualifications: Completed a Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or an HNC/HND equivalent in a relevant subject.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of measurement principles, processes, and engineering drawings; background in metrology or metallurgy measurement preferred.
Skills: Proficient in computer applications, including Word and Excel, with strong communication abilities.
Workplace Competencies: Knowledge of 5S and workplace organization practices.
Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team while being self-motivated and flexible.
Personal Attributes: Adaptable, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
Earlies: Monday: 6.30am- 3pm Tuesday - Thursday: 7am - 3pm Friday: 7am - 12pm
Lates: Monday - Thursday: 3pm - 11pm, Friday: 12pm-5.30pm
Nights: Monday - Thursday: 11pm - 7am, Friday: 5.30pm - 11pm, About Ford:
