• Support a well invested, fast paced food manufacturing site with critical equipment maintenance & engineering by carrying out reactive, planned & preventative, and servicing activities.
• Drive structure problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives to improve site and equipment efficiency and minimise downtime
• Utilizes CMMS systems and reporting suites (SAP PM)
• Support site projects including non- capex modification and CAPEX.
Equipment includes - Milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators process systems, evaporators, compact dyers, variety of Fillers, palletisers, de-palletisers, conveyor lines (chain, spiral), robots, vision systems, Spectrum TX rejection system, Xray checkers, industrial dryers, refrigerated rooms, steam generators, water softeners, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CHP system Air handing units, HVAC, water treatment, steam boilers, chillers, compressors What will make you successful

• Provides support to a function or operational unit.
• Works within well-established processes and procedures with limited scope to act outside of these.
• Delivers within a short-term timeframe.
• Operates with minimum supervision but typically within clear guidelines., Responsible for an effective maintenance service utilising relevant techniques in conjunction with the CMMS.
• Conducts and improves predictive maintenance of line equipment.
• Conducts corrective maintenance in case of site equipment failure and breakdown.
• Secures that relevant spare parts and materials are in place.
• Communicates effectively to report on status of lines and equipment.
• Completes and updates plant maintenance records complying with all departmental procedures.
• Performs all activities in accordance with company and statutory requirements in order to provide a safe and compliant workplace.
• Utilizes CMMS systems and reporting suites.
• Completes root cause analysis with relevant site teams.
• Defines key process parameters and ranges yielding optimal OEE.
• Supports the implementation of maintenance excellence.
  
  Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for innovation and excellence, eager to make a significant impact at one of the UK's largest and most advanced dairy production sites?, Time served apprenticeship/ NVQ Level 3/ ONC/HNC/HND qualified or proven experience
• Ideally you will have experience within a fast paced automated and safety critical manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate - SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI'S, Educational background
• Skilled technical education.
• 1-3 years of technical and/or maintenance experience after completed training or an Arla Foods-trained maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles.
• For UK: HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline with an indentured apprenticeship with individual merits. Arla Foods qualification to Engineering Technician level/NVQ Level 3, Eden Engineer.
