You
will be working under the general direction of the Head of Safer and Communities, delivering key services to landlords, tenants, and residents in the city. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the HMO Licensing Team, providing leadership, motivation and supervision to the team; and will deputise where necessary for the Head of Safer Housing and Communities. The full list of duties and responsibilities is in the Job description attached. Who are we looking for?We want you to have extensive, substantial knowledge and understanding of managing a team delivering the regulation of HMOs across the city of Coventry. You will lead our efforts in ensuring the highest standards of service through the delivery of our HMO licensing schemes aimed at improving the management and quality of HMOs in the city. You will need to demonstrate that you have supervisory/ management skills to manage, motivate and develop a team to achieve business goals. You will
have experience in working in a political environment and a relevant environmental health environment.
