Full Job Description
We are seeking six Inclusion Advisors to work in close partnership with mainstream settings to support the graduated response and Ordinarily Available Provision (OAP) and for CYP with SEND, and support schools to develop capacity and resilience within settings to support inclusion.
You will work collaboratively with schools in your locality along with teams in Bristol City Council and other external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for CYP with SEND. This will involve delivering training to SENDCOs, provide guidance, signposting and advice to settings and actively promote the development of an ethos that supports independence and resilience in CYP with SEND.
You will work within a small team of Inclusion Advisors and have experience of working with children and young people with a wide range of complex special educational needs and disabilities, along with sound specialist knowledge of evidence-based methods, approaches, strategies and interventions.
