Full Job Description
Are you a passionate Catering Supervisor or a Kitchen Assistant looking for a progression opportunity? If so, this role is for you and we'd love you to join our fantastic team based in schools across Wirral.
If successful, you will be supporting the Catering operations in running the service at St Werburghs Primary School. You'll be representing both Edsential and our school to ensure that all pupils have the best quality food and customer experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising the Kitchen staff in the following duties:
Preparing and presenting food to a high standard of hygiene and safe practice
Completion of all kitchen administration, Edsential regard safeguarding with the highest priority. Applicants for posts will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes. The successful applicant will be subject to relevant checks and enhanced DBS.
Please note for all catering and cleaning vacancies the jobs will be closed once a suitable applicant has been interviewed.
Previous experience of running a school kitchen would be advantageous

Ability to build relationships and promote a positive work environment
A lead by example attitude
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy customer facing role, Disability Confident
