Full Job Description

Alfa Leisureplex Group has an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join our team based at the Groups Central Office located in Euxton, Chorley.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role within our social media team, where you'll be responsible for creating and managing a variety of engaging digital content across multiple platforms. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends and strategy, working both collaboratively and independently within the marketing team to produce high-quality, on-brand content that drives engagement and growth., As a Social Media Executive reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be involved in managing social media channels, campaigns, and online reviews to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. You will be involved in research and analysis on social media trends, which will include social media ad revenue and work to build and improve our social media presence and campaign efficiency. You will work with other departments to promote our overall brand through social media channels. You will also be creating compelling and engaging content, monitoring engagement, receiving feedback, responding to customer questions and replying to customer reviews on a variety of platforms., Oversee social media engagement, including replying to comments and messages, particularly through Facebook, Trustpilot and TripAdvisor
Develop fun, creative and industry relevant content designed to promote engagement within the market we serve, through various social media platforms
Work alongside several stakeholders within the business, including filming content with customers
Keep up to date with current social media trends
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop social media plans around key events, such as product releases or advertising campaigns
Analyse social media data and generate reports on key metrics
Provide data-driven insights regarding the performance and trajectory of our channels, identifying growth areas and points of enhancement
Dealing with all customer requests through social media
Manage the Facebook community group and reply to comments and questions
Reply to all customer reviews and comments across all online review platforms

Experience of the following would be beneficial, but not essential:

Experience in a social media role would be beneficial
Proven history of developing captivating, well executed content
Strong understanding of all social media channels and trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent copywriting skills
Experience setting up and running ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
Experience of dealing with review sites and replying to customers

This role is predominantly office based, with some flexibility around working days and hours. Ideally, we are looking for somebody who can work 5 days a week over 37.5 hours. As the business is 7 days a week, if you are comfortable working some weekend days, this would be an advantage. The starting salary for this role is £26,250 - £27,300 per annum with consideration given to relevant skills and experience., Bi-annual tax-free dividend due to our employee-owned status (over £1,200 last full year)
