Full Job Description

The International Recruitment Team at the University of Central Lancashire seeks an International Conversion Co-Ordinator to provide exceptional service to enquirers, applicants, and offer holders interested in studying with us, ensuring high standards and professionalism.

This role supports activities and initiatives aligned with the University's Student Recruitment Strategy to meet international recruitment targets. As part of the International Conversion Team, you will assist in delivering outstanding customer service throughout the international student journey.

Key responsibilities include supporting the International Conversion Manager and Officer in implementing conversion activities such as email and telephone campaigns as well as online events targeting various international audiences. A primary focus is pro-active communication with enquirers and applicants to positively influence their perception of the University and its programs, guiding them through the application process. Once applications are confirmed, you will nurture offer holders through to enrolment, including developing and implementing tailored communication schedules in collaboration with University Schools.

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic colleague who can deliver a professional and efficient service, with a genuine interest in and understanding of the journey of international students to Higher Education in the UK. Applicants should have direct or related experience and be looking to further utilise their skills and expertise in this area.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, ideally with experience of writing inspirational communications, and presenting to a wide audience via online platforms. Candidates will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experiential learning. Copywriting experience would be beneficial but not essential. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting social media channels for the specific use of liaising with incoming international students so experience of social media content creation and group management would be beneficial. The post holder will also have the ability to cope with shifting and demanding priorities.

Our international student applicants expect exceptional service standards, and we seek a colleague with a demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service. In this dynamic and increasingly competitive field, the role requires someone who can adapt to changing priorities, and manage their workload effectively to help them and the rest of the team stay ahead. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support our international audiences., Disability Confident
