We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physiologist to join our dynamic and forward-thinking department. If you are an enthusiastic physiologist looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply!, As a Chief Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), you will play a key role in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of patients with heart rhythm disorders. Working closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, you will support the management of patients with conditions such as arrhythmias, heart failure, and those requiring device therapy. Your role will involve conducting diagnostic tests, assisting with implantations and follow-ups of cardiac devices, and ensuring the accurate interpretation of results to guide effective patient care.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate.
