Full Job Description

Situated within our state-of-the-art facility at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting apprentices on their learning journey., As an Apprentice Academic Workplace Coach, you will:
- Track learner progress, provide interventions, and offer crucial support to apprentices
- Work directly with Trust clinical educators to support students in the clinical environment
- Review apprentice evidence and reflections, helping them identify gaps and find workplace opportunities
- Support the Health and Care Academy in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and policies
- Maintain your clinical registration by regularly working within your scope of practice across the Trust
- Role model compassionate and inclusive leadership, Effectively undertake a lead role in supporting apprenticeship programmes delivered at the Northumbria Health and Care Academy. To enhance the reputation of the Northumbria Health and Care Academy and University of Sunderland as a centre of excellence, by engaging with apprenticeship monitoring, progress reviews and fostering strong partnerships with learners and staff. Providing guidance on both academic and practical aspects of the apprenticeship, you will collaborate with managers, students and academic staff to ensure apprentices are meeting their goals.
