In submitting an application form, you authorise Kettering General Hospital (KGH) NHS Foundation Trust to confirm any previous NHS service details via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Inter Authority Transfer (IAT) process. Including factual reference, occupational health clearance and statutory and mandatory training record.
If you need to have a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check, as a requirement of the role, you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check (£49.50) and this amount will be reclaimed from your first salary. From 1st February 2019 all new starters to the Trust are required to join the DBS update service as per Trust DBS Re-checking Policy which has an annual cost of £16. New employees who do not join the update service will be required to pay £49.50 for a new DBS check in 3 years time.
Please note that news starters with KGH are subject to a six month probationary period.

Then look no further as there is an exciting opportunity arisen to work at Kettering General Hospital Theatres Team., This post will be suitable for candidates who can show an aptitude of self-motivation, good inter-personal skill and good team working skills. Previous pharmacy experience is not essential and suitable candidates may come from a background with transferable skills and knowledge e.g. HCA, catering, laboratory work etc.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible and have the ability to work in a busy and demanding working environment. The person will need to be enthusiastic with good communication skills., The role will include working alongside the Pharmacy Stores Team and Surgical Pharmacy Team, auditing, dealing with supply problems, monitoring the use of controlled drugs in the high-risk areas, implementing and training of theatre staff and working closely with the Anaesthetic and Theatres team. The role is ideal for someone that is highly motivated, able to follow detailed procedures and has great interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will have 5 G.C.S.E'S including Maths, English Language, and a science (Chemistry, Physics or Biology) grade A-C or an equivalent qualification.
All training for the role will be provided.
