Our client a successful online MENWEAR fashion brand who are experiencing very strong growth are now looking to recruit an experienced MENSWEAR/ WOMENSWEAR BUYER to join their team they will also be moving into the ladieswear market for streetwear/ athleisure/ gymwear. The successful candidate will have experience working in both mens/ladieswear as a Buyer for a successful online young fashion brand, you'll be working closely with directors and merchandisers and be responsible for creating and executing balanced and commercial ranges. Whilst also pushing the future strategy and direction of the brand, led by the directors. They are seeking a highly driven, detail focused and creative fashion buyer to work across both Menswear and Womenswear ranges., Working closely with directors, and team members to create and execute balanced ranges.

Pushing the boundaries of the brand whilst staying commercial.

Managing the flow of intake and product, considering seasonality, trends, and cost to business.

Understanding and contributing to financial forecasts and strategies.

Pulling relevant information and presenting to the wider team.

Working in collaboration with merchandisers on the critical paths and delivery schedules to manage and solve any problems within the manufacturing and delivery process.

Directing the team on seasonal briefings, weekly product development and bestseller updates.

Use the WSSI alongside merchandising to make informed and strategic buying decisions.

Reacting to changes in range plans, customer needs and brand strategies and providing the team with clear deadlines to support these.

Attending trade events and supplier visits abroad and be flexible with travel dates and last-minute plans.

Negotiate and manage departmental buying margins, ensuring they are staying aligned with strategies.

Consistent management of suppliers, evaluating these and sourcing new suppliers depending on business needs.

Ensuring any growth opportunities are identified, strategized, and actioned within product ranges alongside the head of department.

Be strong in decision making those balances both the creative and commercial sides of the business.

Attend product sign offs, ensuring all sampling, pricing, targets and balanced ranges are achieved.

+5 years experience within online young fashion Buying market

Experience working across multi-product ranges.

Strong knowledge of excel and Microsoft office.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Managing well under pressurised situations and deadlines
