Full Job Description
Working closely with the Council's wider Property Group and Council Housing Neighbourhoods Team and Repairs and Maintenance Service we are looking for an experienced Asset and Compliance Manager to help drive forward the Council's approach to asset and estate management, compliance and building safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Council's strategic approach as well as day to day co-ordination and management of the teams involved and works relating to our obligations in these areas. You will provide an effective risk management and proactive approach, ensuring quality services are delivered within budget and supporting the development of effective business systems to enhance our compliance and asset data, reporting and service delivery.
You will play a key role in supporting a transformation programme to enhance our compliance and asset services encouraging and promoting a positive culture across the Council.
This role is permanent. The hours of work for this post are 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday and you will be based at Lancaster Town Hall.
The Council currently operates an excellent Flexible Working Hours Scheme which applies to this post. Subject to the needs of this business, this may allow employees to work between the hours of 6:00am-10:30pm.
