Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Administrator to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.,
- Producing budgets and cost plans.
- Running projects post contract including carrying out interim valuations and certification, cost reporting and agreeing final accounts.
- Ability to chair site progress meetings and taking minutes and issue instructions.
- General contract administration (including issuing all necessary contract certification). Site visits, assessments and projections for future work.
- Support Operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects
- Ensuring proper contractual administration of contract/project assigned, including value and cost control, and maintenance of contemporaneous records
- Accurately value works undertaken and where necessary provide records to substantiate cost to allow prompt issue of Application for payment/invoice in line with contractual timescales
- Ensure change control process is managed effectively
- Support development of individuals within the commercial team as the role develops
- Accepts extra duties as situations arise.
- Able to travel on occasions
Qualified (RICS or equivalent); minimum of 5 years relevant post qualification experience. - Working knowledge of clean & waste water services or construction
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Strong knowledge of contracts (including NEC)
- Strong desire to maintain client relationships whilst not compromising contractual entitlement
- Strong communication and inter personal skills
- Enthusiastic and energetic approach to people and projects
- Forward thinking and keen to develop smarter delivery of work
