Full Job Description

  • Successfully convey technical details to a non-technical audience, as well as foster credibility with more technical audiences.
  • Offer knowledge and skills to help qualify business opportunities by understanding the user requirements and technical environment
  • Demo solutions to customers and partners with or without sales support.
  • Analyze and document customer technical environments to create solution designs
  • Assist the pricing team with developing cost estimates
  • Develop SOWs based on the customer's requirements and inline with the IBM costing model
  • Handle objections professionally; answer questions quickly and coherently; deal with challenges assertively and persuasively.
  • Self-manage assignments and administrative tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.
  • Offer technical advice and support to our community of partners.
  • Assist in the sales cycle / business development

    We are looking for a self-starter who can deliver successfully within a dynamic team but must also be able to work independently. We anticipate that the successful candidate's responsibilities will grow with the team., A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiar with IBM Mainframe technologies (COBOL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, IDMS, Natural, Adabas, VSAM, CICS, Batch(JCL)) and Distributed technologies
  • Familiar with relational and non-relational database design.
  • Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Cloud experience
