Full Job Description
- Successfully convey technical details to a non-technical audience, as well as foster credibility with more technical audiences.
- Offer knowledge and skills to help qualify business opportunities by understanding the user requirements and technical environment
- Demo solutions to customers and partners with or without sales support.
- Analyze and document customer technical environments to create solution designs
- Assist the pricing team with developing cost estimates
- Develop SOWs based on the customer's requirements and inline with the IBM costing model
- Handle objections professionally; answer questions quickly and coherently; deal with challenges assertively and persuasively.
- Self-manage assignments and administrative tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.
- Offer technical advice and support to our community of partners.
- Assist in the sales cycle / business development
We are looking for a self-starter who can deliver successfully within a dynamic team but must also be able to work independently. We anticipate that the successful candidate's responsibilities will grow with the team., A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience. - Familiar with IBM Mainframe technologies (COBOL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, IDMS, Natural, Adabas, VSAM, CICS, Batch(JCL)) and Distributed technologies
- Familiar with relational and non-relational database design. Preferred technical and professional experience
- Cloud experience
