Bank Female Complex Care WorkerPay rate: £14.00 - 15.00 (monthly pay)Shift Pattern: Days (09:00 - 18:00 weekdays & 09:00 - 15:00 weekends)Requirements:Female Support WorkerWe've got an exciting opportunity for a caring individual to support a fun-loving young person based in Lincoln with a neurological condition which leads to complex care needs.Your role is to support in meeting the medical, personal care, ventilation, suctioning and assistance needs during the night. You will work alone and as part of a team, operating on shifts to provide 24/7 care.You will not only support her clinical and emotional needs but be a reliable individual who can provide much needed respite for her parents.We can offer full training for the right candidate, in order to successfully support this individual with her clinical needs, which include; administering medication, personal care, PEG and JEJ feeding, oropharyngeal suctioning, mechanical ventilation and emotional support throughout the
night.Please note that all training takes place during the day thus flexibility is required.What will your shift involve?In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs.Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being.Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence.Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.More about Acuity Care GroupWe have been around for nearly 20 years so know our stuff!
