Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as an environmental coordinator on a permanent contract. This will be 15 hours a week working Wednesdays and Fridays.

We are looking for a motivated, efficient and hardworking environmental coordinator to work alongside members of the multi-disciplinary team, to keep the environment of the childrens ward safe helping us to deliver the best standard of care.

You would be expected to complete our daily and weekly checks for our standard operational procedures (SOPS). Reporting and liaising with colleagues from the wider team to keep equipment in working order, ensuring the ongoing cleanliness of the environment and helping to manage appropriate levels of stock.

Main duties of the job

Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team

Complete daily and weekly SOPS

Ensure the cleanliness of equipment and work areas

Report any faults or loaned equipment at ward level

Ensure equipment is stored correctly

Ensure that stock is ordered

Monitor handwashing compliance
