As a Wastewater Treatment Services Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing and growing our existing wastewater treatment accounts while supporting the expansion of new accounts within the UK market. You will be at the forefront of building and nurturing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving business development for Veolia Water Technologies UK. This role combines customer relationship management with strategic business development, offering you the opportunity to work closely with internal teams, promote innovative solutions, and contribute directly to our company's growth. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding client needs and ensuring the highest level of service. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, helping to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Account Growth and Development: Develop existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand our service offering. Actively support the conversion of new business opportunities in the UK market, converting prospects into long-term customers. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with our service teams and internal functions to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that meet client needs. Be proactive in identifying any potential issues and working collaboratively to resolve them quickly. Industry Representation: Represent us at trade associations, meetings, and industry events, demonstrating and promoting our innovative products and services. Expand your knowledge of the wastewater treatment industry, competitor landscape, and client needs to stay ahead of the market.

  • Proven Experience: Strong background in account management, business development, or sales within the wastewater treatment, water, or environmental services sectors.
  • Customer-Focused: Excellent relationship-building skills, with a track record of developing long-lasting client partnerships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify business needs and creatively find solutions to meet them, driving both client satisfaction and business results.
  • Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the wastewater treatment industry is beneficial, along with a willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest industry trends.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Confident in presenting and promoting technical solutions.
  • Digitally Proficient and Detail-Oriented: Skilled in using a range of digital tools and systems, including CRM software, pipeline and contact management platforms, sales management systems, and reporting tools. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite to manage data and create reports with ease. Your tech expertise will play a vital role in streamlining processes and driving success in this role.
