Full Job Description

Wave's Industrial Account Management team are responsible for managing the water and wastewater requirements of some of Wave's largest and most strategically important customers. They range in nature from power stations to oil refineries, food manufacturing sites to automotive plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our relationships with a portfolio of these customers using their refined Account Management skills. They will join a team of experts with huge amounts of experience from a wide range of sectors, not just the water industry. The team is looking for an experienced Account Manager to deepen our existing relationships and develop new opportunities for customers to benefit from Wave's award-winning water retail proposition. The role will suit you if you have significant Account Management experience, a desire to make the customer journey as smooth as possible and helping customers achieve their water, wastewater, fiscal and sustainability objectives.

  • Credible Account Management experience, with a history of developing long-term relationships with a variety of key customers, ideally from the industrial sector.
  • Demonstrable B2B sales experience in a commercial environment.
  • A natural communicator, able to speak, write and present with impact.
  • A desire to provide the highest levels of customer service.
  • The ability to work in a structured way to ensure consistency of service provided.
  • A team player who supports colleagues and works with others to achieve the best outcome for the customer and Wave.
  • Numerical literacy with good analytical and MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a related subject.
