Full Job Description

The role will involve managing and cultivating existing business within luxury hotel groups and specialist retail accounts predominantly within and around the London arena. A passion for driving growth as well as developing a pipeline of sustainable and profitable new accounts is required which will be harnessed through your ability to work autonomously and manage your portfolio using your commercial knowledge and expertise. We are looking for someone who has a passion for the drinks industry, has a solid knowledge in spirits and has experience in the Luxury on-trade arena to deliver customer service excellence and understand their clients' needs. Whilst the role is remote, you will be expected to spend 3-4 days per week in trade, meeting your clients, liaising with brand partners or prospecting new portfolio opportunities.   • Develop existing accounts using a strategic approach to identify growth opportunities whilst ensuring key stakeholder relationships continue to grow and prosper. A strong ability to prioritise as well as a customer service excellence will be critical to success
  • Prospect and cultivate new business through research & networking across the trade to reveal all potential relevant and profitable opportunities and turn these into long-term, profitable, and sustainable accounts for Speciality Drinks
  • As an Account Manager you will oversee the end-to-end process from client onboarding, order placing & system integration through to invoicing and final payment. Whilst there are a number of teams who will manage each function, you will work closely with key business stakeholders, both internally and externally with a solution-focused attitude to support the overall delivery ensuring our first-class customer service is upheld
  • Continually develop and grow your understanding of the Spirit and Champagne categories, trends and new product launches, to ensure you can add value and insight to your customer base through top class knowledge and recommendations
  • Adopt a consultative approach to deliver real value for your customers through brand introductions; arranging training sessions with our brand ambassador; access to exclusive products or any other relevant support requests
  • Work towards achieving annual targets set on several key measurable objectives to achieve desired results for Speciality Drinks business through relationship building, strategic planning and successful tendering
  • Showcase a 'can-do' attitude to support your immediate and wider team offering a proactive and supportive contribution to our One Team approach

    A proven track record in a customer facing role within wholesale spirits or brand company.
  • Experience of selling luxury and/or specialist products
  • In depth spirits and Champagne knowledge
  • WSET advanced certificate desirable
  • Proficient IT skills - Microsoft Package: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Good presentation skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Self- motivated and results driven.
