Full Job Description

We are seeking an accountant who will work alongside the current finance lead and accounts assistant to support the company's financial management. The role is highly flexible, and responsibilities will be shaped based on the successful candidate's experience and preferences. The main focus of the role will include:

  • Leading the preparation of quarterly management accounts.
  • Supporting financial analysis and reporting for property investments and performance.
  • Managing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and variances.
  • Full invoicing ownership
  • Handling supplier payments and bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with year-end accounts preparation and liaising with auditors.
  • Overseeing general financial administration and compliance tasks.

    You are a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working autonomously in a small team. You have experience in financial management, ideally within the property sector, and are comfortable adapting to a stable, slow-paced environment.
  • Key qualifications and skills include:
  • Strong financial management experience, including management accounts and reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to manage reconciliations and budgets.
  • A self-starter with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • A relevant accounting qualification (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
