Full Job Description

As an Actuarial Analyst in Reinsurance Reserving, you will work collaboratively with actuaries, financial reporting analysts, and the actuarial IT team to deliver comprehensive reserving and actuarial risk analytics. This role offers the opportunity to support and develop cutting-edge analyses, strategies, and solutions addressing a wide range of actuarial risks and issues facing AXA XL. DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Reinsurance Reserving: Manage reserving for complex general insurance lines of business.
  • Risk Analytics: Develop analytical tools, analyse reinsurance risk, engage in regulatory capital modelling activities, and provide general support for risk analytics within the company.
  • Technical Provisions: Assist in setting up technical provisions for the Solvency II balance sheet.
  • Quarterly Reporting: Assist with reporting actuarial results to senior management on a quarterly basis.

    SHARE your talent We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
  • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics or actuarial science.
  • Ideally, 18+ months of work experience but outstanding graduates will also be considered.
  • Execellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced mathematical / financial / statistical aptitude
  • Effective computer application skills, specifically Excel, SQL and Visual Basic Application
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
