Full Job Description

Are you interested in actuarial analysis in an exciting Group oversight role? This role will give you a broad overview of P&C reserving. In this role you will:

  • Provide independent assessment of P&C reserves.
  • Implement new reserving models and process improvements using data analysis and statistical modelling skills.
  • Contribute to providing management with the most up-to-date information through the Group's quarterly reporting materials.
  • Perform 'deep dives' on specific portfolios.
  • About the Team P&C Actuarial Control provides senior management and the Board(s) of Directors with an independent assessment of our reserves for both Reinsurance P&C and CorSo. We also support the Group Chief Actuary in the preparation of quarterly closing materials and provide the Risk Modelling team with the P&C parameters for the internal model.

    You are energetic and motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You pay attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • You have successfully completed your university degree in a quantitative field such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or any other degree with a quantitative component.
  • You are pursuing a professional actuarial qualification.
  • You can quickly grasp new concepts and develop them into practical solutions.
  • You have experience with R and other programming languages/framework.
  • You are experienced with the use of statistical modelling, data science and data visualization tools.
  • You enjoy working with multiple teams across functions and geographies
  • You are an outstanding teammate, who can work independently and take ownership
  • You are trustworthy and curious to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good spoken and written English
