Full Job Description

  • To provide expertise and leadership in within the field of alcohol issues. To work autonomously within the guidelines and the policies and procedures of the service, using evidence-based practice, and have an in depth knowledge of treatment available.
  • Provide specialist advice and consultation to colleagues and others. To communicate skilfully, tactfully and sensitively, complex and sensitive information with clients, carers, local teams and others, taking into account sensory and cultural barriers to communication.
  • Ensure the maintenance of up to date records on all clients according to professional and Trust guidelines, including electronic data entry and recording.
  • To work in conjunction with the Team Manager and the Operational Services Manager in ensuring that all services provided are acceptable and accessible to diverse communities.

    We are seeking someone with a proven experience of working with service users who are alcohol dependent. Preferably with experience of Medically Assisted Withdrawal from Alcohol.
