Full Job Description

  • Executional Excellence: Deliver high-quality R&D procedural work and experimentation, utilizing your expertise to enhance the foundational understanding of our team.
  • Technical Planning & Execution: Collaborate with team members to plan and execute a diverse array of technical tests and sample analyses. Summarise findings independently and monitor for unanticipated results or unexpected observations to uncover insights.
  • Experimentation & Data Management: Execute lab experiments and test procedures, producing reliable and reproducible results that meet daily project demands. Work closely with your technical coach and team experts throughout this process.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to site and laboratory Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, as well as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, ensuring a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
  • Collaboration: Partner with R&D functions and the broader technical community to support product development through the generation of high-quality analytical data.

    Experience/Background: Background in a scientific field with practical analytical experience in a laboratory setting, ideally with broader industry exposure.
  • Passion for Science: A genuine enthusiasm for hands-on experimentation, paired with a growth mindset and a proactive "can do" attitude.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with ability to generate and report high-quality, business-relevant data.
  • Organisational Skills: Well-organised with effective time management abilities, capable of meeting strict deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaboration skills, enabling you to engage effectively with a diverse team of colleagues from various backgrounds and levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy and familiarity with relevant software tools.
