Full Job Description

Job Purpose: As an Animal Management Lecturer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to place learners at the center of everything we do. You will inspire and guide students, helping them achieve their individual learning goals and succeed in their studies., + Curriculum Development: Design and develop engaging learning materials and resources for animal management courses.
+ Teaching and Assessment: Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of further and apprenticeship education courses, ensuring all learners receive the support they need.
+ Student Support: Provide guidance, counselling, and mentoring to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
+ Quality Assurance: Participate in course verification, quality assurance processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs.
+ Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current in your field and enhance your teaching practice., As part of the recruitment process and in line with keeping children safe in education, we will conduct social media checks on shortlisted candidates. Additionally, before commencing employment, all employees undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS.

+ Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in Animal Management or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
+ Teaching qualification or substantial industrial experience (or working towards a teaching qualification).
+ Knowledge of innovative learning and teaching techniques.
+ Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Desirable Criteria:
+ Experience in curriculum development and the use of ICT as a teaching tool.
+ Understanding of further, apprenticeship, and higher education funding mechanisms.
+ Professional appearance suitable for a workplace with students and animals., Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
