As an Apprentice Underwriting Technician, you will assist our underwriting team with the day-to-day processing and assessment of insurance applications, policy renewals, and other documentation. You'll gain a deep understanding of the underwriting process, risk analysis, and industry-specific compliance requirements. This apprenticeship program combines on-the-job training with academic learning, giving you a strong foundation to build your future career in underwriting. This is a starter role with full training and continuous development provided. You don't need prior insurance knowledge! What you'll do This role entail, but is not limited to: Building in-depth knowledge of the motor insurance market through excellent customer service. Engaging with brokers to foster strong, lasting relationships. Managing back-office tasks, including technical inquiries and software house messages. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the broking-to-underwriting journey, from start to finish.
