We're looking for experienced candidates who have worked within these sectors to join our team to deliver Level 2 and 3 subjects. This is a fantastic opportunity for both someone who currently works in education or within the industry and is willing to take the leap and transition into a rewarding teaching role! We value your industry experience above all and are committed to supporting your transition into teaching. Full teacher training and mentoring will be provided for the successful candidate. About the Roles: As part of the team you'll share your industry expertise with learners, delivering engaging practical and some theory sessions that equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the industry. You'll cover a range of subjects relating to your field whether this be the environment, conservation, forestry or arboriculture. Your knowledge and experience in the field will be vital in shaping our future generation. We aim to ensure that our staff teach to their strengths

  • Extensive hands-on experience in both ground-based and aerial arboriculture.
  • Proficiency in arboriculture operations, including tree climbing, rigging, pruning, and tree safety management.
  • Passion for sharing knowledge and helping others succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students in both classroom and practical environments.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in arboriculture, including aerial work (tree climbing) and ground operations.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NPTC, Lantra, or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • No teaching qualification required - training and professional development will be provided!
  • Industry Experience:
  • + Proven practical experience in environmental conservation, habitat management, ecological surveys, or sustainability initiatives + Knowledge of current environmental regulations, conservation techniques, and sustainable practices
  • Field Knowledge and Practical Skills:
  • + Familiarity with practical conservation methods (e.g., habitat restoration, species monitoring, environmental impact assessments) + Experience in working with tools and equipment relevant to conservation work, such as surveying equipment, and habitat management tools.
  • Passion for Sustainability and Conservation:
