Area Manager

Are you currently an Area Manager or Regional Manager with FMCG, Brown Box or Grocery experience, who thrives in a fast paced environment? We have a fantastic opportunity to join B&M as an Area Manager in the London Area! This role will cover circa 8-12 stores across an area within London. Applicants will ideally be located within London already, or within a reasonable commute (within 30 minutes)., We are looking for an Area Manager who is passionate about people, customers and achieving challenging but rewarding business goals. In an area consisting of c.17 stores, you'll need to be commercially driven and will be given the autonomy to drive the performance of your area. You'll motivate, nurture, and encourage your team to develop on their personal performance as well as deliver the business strategy using exceptional leadership and coaching skills. Why B&M? To be successful in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A proven track record of delivering sales targets
• Experience leading & implementing business strategy, plans and driving compliance
• Working knowledge of current employment practices
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and teams
• FMCG/brown box/grocery experience is desirable
  
  Experience managing multi-site teams in a fast-paced retail environment, at Area or Regional Manager level
• FMCG, brown box, grocery or discount retail experience
