Full Job Description

The Jacobs Cities & Places team create thriving places across different scales - from regions to cities, neighbourhoods to individual buildings and all through an integrated design approach. We have a tremendous opportunity in front of us to build upon our strengths and develop an interdisciplinary planning, design and delivery practice that is uniquely Jacobs, that sets the direction for the industry and is home to the very best and brightest design thinkers, disruptors, technical experts, visionaries and storytellers. Our business unit brings together engineers, architects, surveyors, urban designers, project managers and transport planners to provide collaborative and coordinated value design solutions for our clients, both nationally and internationally. We are currently looking for talented Assistant Project Managers who will support the management of technical consultancy services to major clients. As an Assistant Project Manager you will contribute to the solution of technical issues arising within projects and be responsible for supporting more senior PM colleagues in managing the project team and for day-to-day liaison with team members.

  • These roles are based on a Hybrid basis from our Leeds or Manchester offices
  • Full time employment with Jacobs is on the basis of 40 hours pw
  • Some duties and responsibilities
  • Assist in the management / reporting requirements and the delivery of the various buildings projects
  • To comply with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures and work with a diverse range of specialist and engineering professionals
  • To support the provision of technical solutions that meet the requirements of clients and enhance project / business performance
  • Here's what you'll need
  • Ideally you will be a student or an associate member of the Association of Project Management or other recognised registration
  • You'll know enough of the principles of Project Management to be able to support PMs with effective planning, monitoring and control of project deliverables
